Andrew Abbott is a competitive amateur racing Formula Vee open-wheel cars in SCCA's national championships. He competes in the SCCA Majors and Runoffs, where he shares multiclass grids with amateur, semi-professional and professional drivers; he also races the SCCA Regionals. He has been active since 2021.[1]
Abbott has taken six wins and nine podiums across 14 starts in SCCA Majors, along with three podiums from four Runoffs entries and a win with two podiums from three Regionals starts. He has beaten Zachary Whitston, the 2022 SCCA Majors FV champion, in three meetings, and Michael Hinkle, who won the SCCA Regionals FV title in both 2023 and 2024, once. In the regular company he keeps, Abbott typically finishes ahead of club-level drivers such as Brandon Abbott and developing drivers such as Stuart Delaney. His 2026 season is still in progress.[2]
