Andy Perry is a semi-professional sportscar driver competing in multiclass endurance racing. In 2018, his sole indexed appearance came in the 24H Series, a championship run across 13 countries with a field mixing amateurs, semi-professionals and graded professionals sharing GT4 cars in single races. Perry drove for Fox Motorsport, a team that fields multiple drivers across the series and counts a professional-level competitor, Ben Clucas, among its roster.[1]
Perry won the single 24H Series round he entered that year and finished fourth in the season standings. In that one appearance, he beat two semi-professional drivers with substantial experience in the series; Bert Redant and Jimmy de Breucker have raced the 24H Series 7 and 13 times respectively, and Perry finished ahead of both.[2]
Perry's racing record in this index spans only the one entry, though his career in sportscars extends well beyond it; he drove the 24 Hours of Le Mans five times between 1996 and 2003 and made an attempt at Formula One in 1992 with the Andrea Moda team.
