Carlos Jose Miguens is a retired amateur driver from a single season of International GT competition in 2022. He started five races in the series, a moderately-skilled grid of sprint racing in grand touring and prototype machinery, and finished on average in ninth place without recording a podium finish.[1]
Miguens's results against his most frequent rivals showed a mixed picture. He finished ahead of Tomas Ballester, a former champion, in three of five shared races, and also beat several other regular competitors; however, he consistently finished behind Jimmy Adams, Brady Behrman (an FIA Bronze graded former champion), Javier Ripoll, and most of the other drivers he encountered regularly. He recorded isolated victories against stronger opposition, including two finishes ahead of Stevan McAleer, an FIA Gold graded professional rated substantially above the International GT field, and single wins against Andrew Davis (FIA Silver), Lukas Pank (a former champion), and Pippa Mann (FIA Silver). These results were exceptions rather than patterns in a brief competitive record. His career ended after 2022 without advancement to another series.
