Willis made two starts in the SuperNationals across 2011 and 2012. His record included a finish ahead of Jacob Loomis, an entry-level professional who later won the 2020 SCCA Runoffs FX championship and raced in Indy Pro 2000. He also beat Marcus Armstrong in one meeting; Armstrong went on to win the 2017 Italian Formula 4 championship and race in Formula 2 and IndyCar.[2]
