Dave Garland is a developing amateur racing in the NASA multiclass endurance championship, a series that runs spec Mazda MX-5 Miatas in its Spec Miata Challenge class across a mixed field of amateurs, semi-professionals and graded professionals. His single season on record consists of two starts in 2007, finishing 30th in the championship standings.[1]
In that season Garland finished ahead of Bob Palmer and Paul Keplinger, both developing drivers who would go on to accumulate considerably more NASA starts than Garland's own total.[2]
