Larsen finished behind the regular opponents he encountered most often; Robert Miller and Cash Canada, both more experienced in the series, typically completed ahead of him. He did take one finish ahead of Cash Canada, a club-level driver with 67 NASA starts. He also beat Cody Powell once, a semi-professional who had raced 88 times in NASA and competed in the Whelen Mazda MX-5 Cup.[2]
