Jakubowski raced in amateur and semi-professional multiclass championships in the United States during the late 2000s. Between 2007 and 2009 he competed in PCA Club Racing, where he drove Porsches across multiple classes, and made two starts in NASA's 944 Cup class, piloting a naturally aspirated eight-valve Porsche 944. He finished 19th in the PCA Club Racing standings in 2009, the final year of his indexed racing.[1]
Jakubowski took a single podium across five starts. In PCA Club Racing he ran against developing drivers including J. Solinger and J. Higginbotham, beating both in separate races, though the wins came across a limited record.[2]
