Jake Lueder is a developing amateur competitor racing in SCCA multiclass championships. He races the SM class, driving spec 1990–2005 Mazda MX-5 Miatas in solo sprint events across the United States. His racing splits between SCCA Majors and SCCA Regionals; Majors represents the national series while Regionals are regional events, both fielding the same 25-class multiclass grid.[1]
Across four seasons from 2022 to 2026, Lueder has made eight starts and taken two podiums, both in SCCA Regionals in 2024. He finished 76th in the 2024 Regionals championship standings. His competition is drawn from a mixed amateur and semi-professional field; he races regularly against Jonathan Davis, a competitive amateur with extensive NASA and SCCA Majors experience, and Alec Lind, a club-level regular in SCCA Regionals, and typically finishes behind both. He has beaten Matthew Novak, a semi-professional with 50 SCCA Majors starts, once, and Bret Prange, a club-level competitor, once across their meetings.[2]
