James Trudeau is a developing-level driver who raced Formula Vee open-wheel cars in the SCCA Regionals, a national multiclass championship mixing amateur, semi-professional and professional drivers across 25 classes. His single indexed season came in 2022, when he started 13 rounds.[1]
Trudeau finished 44th in the 2022 SCCA Regionals points standings. He was a regular competitor against club-level drivers such as Gerard Owen Callaghan, who raced 35 SCCA Regionals rounds and has also competed in SCCA Majors, and John Ferreira, a developing driver with 53 SCCA Regionals starts to his name; Trudeau usually finished behind both.
