John R Mueller raced Porsches in PCA Club Racing's E and F classes between 2004 and 2010. He competed at a developing level in a multiclass field that mixed amateurs, semi-professionals and graded professionals on the same grid.[1]
Mueller started 81 times over seven seasons and took seven podiums. He finished 40th in the 2010 championship standings, his final season on record. His results placed him typically behind regular opponents Douglas Crossman and Steve Boris, both club-level drivers with longer records in the series.[2]
Mueller finished ahead of Angus Rogers, who went on to compete in IMSA VP Racing and American Endurance Racing, and Mike Ward, a semi-professional who raced in NASA and International GT. These remained single-race results against drivers who saw considerably more racing across stronger categories.
