Jose Guerrero competes in SVRA, the vintage and historic racing series that features drivers piloting cars from across motorsport eras. He is widely known within racing circles as Roberto Jose Guerrero Isaza, the Colombian-American driver who broke ground as the first Colombian to start a Formula One Grand Prix, debuting on 23 January 1982 and going on to compete in 29 Grands Prix over the course of his top-level career. That background in open-wheel racing established him as a pioneering figure for Colombian motorsport before he later transitioned into other forms of competitive driving.[1]
