Joseph Safina is a retired American endurance racer. His record on this database comprises a single start in American Endurance Racing in 2017, where he finished 109th in a large field. The rating of 1,036 places him in the developing bracket; at this level, drivers are consistently at the rear of club fields or have too few races on record to have moved off entry level.[1]
Safina's one recorded appearance saw him classified ahead of several drivers with considerably stronger credentials, including multiple American Endurance Racing class champions and a Silver-graded professional. However, a single result against such rivals cannot establish a pattern of competitive strength, particularly given his remote finishing position and the scale of the field he was racing in. The outcome reflects the nature of large-grid endurance racing rather than head-to-head competitiveness over a career.[2]
His broader racing history, documented outside this database, includes participation in major endurance events such as the 24 Hours of Daytona, 12 Hours of Sebring, and Dubai 24 Hour, as well as IMSA SportsCar Championship competition. His recorded competitive activity ended in 2017.
