Juan Cruz competed in a single season of club-level motorsport. His Racer Rating of 1,116 places him among developing drivers; he raced in a competitive amateur field but lacked the consistency to establish himself as a front-runner. Across three NASA Spec E46 starts in 2022, he secured one podium finish and averaged fourth place, though this modest sample came against a field that included established semi-professional competitors. He has since retired from racing.[1]

Cruz's record against his regular rivals tells the story of a driver outpaced by most of the field. He failed to finish ahead of Lucas Weisenberg, the 2022 NASA Spec E46 champion and a much stronger semi-professional driver, in any of their three shared races. He finished behind Casey Mashore, a multi-time Spec E46 champion, in two of three encounters, winning only one head-to-head. His single notable success came against drivers at or below his own level; he beat Peter Oneppo in all three races they shared, and won two of three against Larry Noble and Eirik Holm.
