Martin Harms was a club-level driver in multiclass endurance racing. He competed in the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie between 2010 and 2011, racing in the SP 5 class where cars are shared between drivers. His career comprised six starts across two seasons, finishing 17th in the 2011 championship standings.[1]
Harms took a single podium finish from his six races. In the mixed amateur and semi-professional field at the Nürburgring, he raced against established regulars including semi-professional Thomas Kappeler, who won the SP 5 class in 2011 and has accumulated 56 starts in the series across multiple years. Harms also shared the grid with competitive amateur Tobias Neuser, a more frequent competitor than himself. He finished ahead of entry-level professional Michael Tischner once and semi-professional Philippe Burel once. Most of his entries came with Car #219, a small operation fielding three drivers across the index.[2]
