Matt Solarczyk is a club-level driver; his rating of 2,052 places him in the developing band, the entry level of competitive racing where drivers are building experience in fields that do not yet contain established professionals. His record spans two seasons and two starts in SKUSA SuperNationals competition during 2013 and 2014, neither yielding a podium finish. His average finishing position of 14th across classified starts reflects the typical spread of a driver finding his feet in karting's national championship environment.[1]
The most notable element of his record is a single-race result against Neil Verhagen, then a developing driver himself but now an established professional with a Gold grading and a 2024 GT World Challenge America Pro-Am title to his name. Solarczyk finished ahead of Verhagen on that occasion, along with three other semi-professional competitors of varying experience; however, these are isolated instances from a two-race sample and do not constitute a pattern of consistent performance at that level. His retirement from racing since 2014 places him outside active competition.
