Mike Watt is an American driver whose racing background includes stock car experience prior to his time in sports car competition. He competed in the NASCAR Busch Series and the NASCAR Goody's Dash Series before moving into road racing, where he has been associated with D Motorsports in the IMSA Prototype Challenge. That grounding in stock car racing gave him a foundation of oval and short-track experience that he later carried into the prototype ranks.[1]
In the IMSA Prototype Challenge, Watt has made three career starts, all with D Motorsports, converting two of those into podium finishes and two into wins. He has not yet claimed a championship, but his win rate across a small sample of starts points to competitive pace when on track. His Racer Rating stands at 1,968, placing him 5216th among active drivers on the scale. In the 2026 season, Watt has started one round without a win or podium, sitting 13th in the standings; his current status in the series is listed as retired.[2]
