R Herrera raced at club level in American production car racing, competing in multiclass national championships where amateur and semi-professional drivers shared grids with graded professionals. Between 2006 and 2010, Herrera made four indexed starts across PCA Club Racing and NASA, driving naturally aspirated Porsche 944s and other Porsches in single-driver sprint racing.[1]
Herrera won twice in PCA Club Racing, taking both victories in the 2010 season, which yielded three podiums across his total of four starts. His record in NASA was a single podium from two outings in 2008. He finished 23rd in the 2010 PCA Club Racing championship standings in what was his final season of indexed activity.[2]
