Ryan Waldo is a club-level driver racing in NASA, a national multiclass endurance championship where amateur and semi-professional entrants compete on the same grid across 15 classes. He drives a Mazda MX-5 Miata in the Spec Miata class, a single-seater formula where all cars run identical specification trim. His primary team fields the Miata; across the indexed record that organisation has run over 1,200 drivers, its strongest a established professional.[1]

Waldo has completed six indexed seasons from 2021 to 2026, accumulating 56 starts and two podiums. He currently sits 44th in the 2026 NASA championship standings with nine rounds raced so far; the season is still in progress.[2]

His regular competition includes John Allen, a competitive amateur with significant NASA experience who typically finishes ahead of him, and John Poppenhouse, a developing driver whom Waldo usually beats.
