Scot Young is a developing-level driver who raced in NASA, a multiclass American championship that runs up to 15 classes on track together in a single race. He competed in the American Iron class, driving V8 pony cars for Scot Electric/Valvoline. His indexed racing record spans two seasons, 2007 and 2008.[1]

Young made 11 starts across his two seasons in NASA, taking four podium finishes and finishing 26th in the 2008 championship standings. He finished ahead of competitive amateurs Robin Burnett and Bob Denton on multiple occasions, though he typically finished behind regular opponents Jeff Feit, a club-level driver with over a century of NASA starts, and Jay Andrew, a fellow developing driver with 32 NASA starts.[2]
