Sergio Terife is a club-level driver, ranked 2,003 on the Racer Rating scale; this places him in the competitive amateur band, meaning he raced against professionals rather than exclusively among amateurs, but at modest pace and in limited volume. His career on record consists of a single entry in the 2014 SKUSA SuperNationals, where he failed to score a podium finish. He classified 21st in that one outing.[1]
The context of that sole result is mixed. Terife finished ahead of several drivers of varying strength; most notably, he beat Neil Verhagen, a Gold-graded sportscar professional and GT World Challenge America Pro-Am champion, as well as Jake Drew, a professional-tier competitor. He also outran Phillippe Denes, a Silver-graded driver, and Abby McLaughlin. However, a single finish ahead of stronger drivers in one race does not establish a pattern of competitive strength, and his overall placement in the field was middle-of-the-pack. Terife is now retired and has no subsequent racing record.
