Tim Yungeberg raced in NASA, a national multiclass endurance championship where amateurs and semi-professionals share the track across fifteen classes. He drove Porsche 944s for Porsche 924s, a team that fielded six drivers and scored 35 wins across the indexed results. His three seasons in the series from 2010 to 2012 yielded 33 starts.[1]

Yungeberg took one win and seven podiums across his NASA career, finishing 37th in the final season's standings. He raced most often against Ashley Burt, a competitive amateur with over a hundred NASA starts, and Shane Ballard, a developing driver with eighty starts; he usually finished behind both. His most significant results came against Daniel Williams, a semi-professional who has raced NASA extensively alongside SCCA Majors and national Mazda MX-5 Cup competition; Yungeberg beat him seven times across their meetings, and also outfinished Ashley Burt five times.[2]
