Tony Mazzagatti is a developing amateur racer who competed in national multiclass sprint championships across two Porsche-based series in the United States. He drove Porsche 944s in NASA's 944 Spec class from 2015 to 2022 and Porsches in PCA Club Racing's GT4S and SP911 classes between 2008 and 2013.[1]
Over nine seasons and 40 starts, Mazzagatti scored one win and three podiums. His sole victory came in PCA Club Racing, where he also finished eighth in the championship standings across a full six-round season in 2013. His seven-year stint in NASA yielded two podiums from 27 starts, placing him in the lower-to-mid portions of fields that typically ran from amateurs to graded professionals in shared-class racing.[2]
Mazzagatti finished behind club-level regular Charles Sharp and developing driver Thomas Atteberry in most meetings, his most common opponents in NASA. He occasionally beat semi-professional drivers including Marcelo Vine, whom he defeated twice, and Daniel Williams once across their limited head-to-head racing.
