William Christian is a developing amateur racer who competed in NASA's Spec Miata classes between 2003 and 2010. He drove for a team that fielded 160 drivers across the index, among them the professional Patrick Lindsey, and completed 33 starts in multiclass racing that mixed amateur and semi-professional entrants with graded professionals on the same track.[1]
Christian finished 93rd in the NASA championship standings in his final season, 2010, which comprised five rounds. Across his seven seasons on record he raced primarily in Spec Miata and Spec Miata Challenge, competing against a regular field that included Jonathan Christian and Clement Lee, both more experienced drivers who typically finished ahead of him. He beat semi-professional Tyler Vance three times and competitive amateur Jeremy Barnes once.[2]
