Yannick de Brabander is a semi-professional kart racer. His only indexed season came in 2011, when he made one start in the KF2 class at the SKUSA SuperNationals, a multiclass national championship in the United States that fields amateurs and professionals on the same track.[1]
De Brabander finished on the podium in that single appearance. The field included established professionals; he beat Dennis Olsen, an FIA Platinum-graded driver with significant experience in Formula Renault Eurocup, Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie and DTM, as well as Damiano Fioravanti, an entry-level professional who has raced in Formula V8 3.5 and European Le Mans Series.[2]
