NASA is a multi-class sprint series running spec single-marque classes alongside modified and unlimited categories, with Spec Miata, CMC, Spec E46, and Spec Iron forming its strongest tiers. The field is competitive amateur, with most drivers ungraded but a handful of Silver and Gold drivers drawn from higher amateur and endurance championships; Aaron Jeansonne, Ben Maier and Allen Patten lead the roster. NASA sits in the mainstream of club racing, trading drivers readily with SCCA Regionals and PCA Club Racing at a comparable level, and feeding upward to SCCA Majors and American Endurance Racing.
