Benjamin Tornqvist is a competitive amateur, rated 2,500; he competed in club and regional racing rather than professional championships. His record spans three seasons from 2016 to 2018, all contested in the SKUSA SuperNationals, where he made three starts without recording a podium finish. He averaged P13 across his classified races, placing him in the middle order of the fields he entered.[1]

Tornqvist showed occasional competitiveness against established drivers in his limited appearances. He finished ahead of Gary Carlton, a semi-professional rated 2,899, once during his time in the series, and also beat Gianfranco Mazzaferro, rated 2,526, in a single race.
