That single outing placed him ahead of Frank Schwartz, a club driver who has since become a 2022 SCCA Regionals ITB champion and contested the Runoffs four times, and Matt Brannon, who won the 2025 SCCA Majors HP title. Okell is now retired from indexed racing.[2]
