Frank Schwartz is a club-level racer competing in national amateur and semi-professional multiclass sprint racing. He races for SCCA competition across three championships, split between near-stock B-Spec hatchbacks and heavily modified production sports cars in the HP and HPI classes. He has raced continuously since 2021 and remains active.[1]
Schwartz has won 23 races across 73 starts, with 45 podiums spread across SCCA Majors, SCCA Regionals, and SCCA Runoffs. His primary record comes from SCCA Regionals, where he took 14 wins and 20 podiums from 28 starts between 2022 and 2026, including the 2026 SCCA Regionals championship. In SCCA Majors he has raced since 2021 with 9 wins and 25 podiums from 41 starts, and won the 2022 SCCA Majors championship as well. His Runoffs record consists of four starts across 2021 and 2023.[2]
Schwartz's regular competition puts him among fields mixing club and semi-professional drivers with occasional graded professionals. He runs closely matched against Matt Wolfe, a fellow club driver and 2023 SCCA Majors B-Spec champion. He typically finishes ahead of Kent Carter, a semi-professional regular across SCCA competition and NASA. He has also beaten Richard Hromin, a semi-professional competitor, three times across their head-to-head meetings, and has finished ahead of James Baldwin, a professional FIA Silver-graded driver who races in British GT and GT World Challenge Europe, twice.
