🏳️ Charlotte Wilking

Charlotte Wilking is a competitive amateur endurance racing driver. She competed in the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie, a multiclass national championship run at a single circuit in which amateur and professional drivers share the grid. She raced in the V3 and V5 classes, which run near-standard production cars, and was a regular competitor for Toyota Motorsport GmbH between 2012 and 2015.[1]

Wilking made 11 starts across four seasons, scoring five podiums. Her most active period came in 2015, when she took two podiums in two rounds before retiring from the sport. Throughout her career she usually finished ahead of club-level regular Michael Uelwer but regularly saw Frank Kuhlmann, the 2014 Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie V3 champion, finish ahead of her. She beat semi-professional drivers Harald Barth and Dirk Vleugels once each.[2]

Wilking raced in a field that mixed amateurs and semi-professionals with a small number of professionals. Toyota Motorsport GmbH fielded her alongside Christian Scherer, a professional driver who was among the team's strongest entrants. The team's two race wins across the index came from other campaigns and other drivers; Wilking's five podiums placed her at the mid-field of her teammates' performances in the years she competed.
