Christian Konnerth is a professional endurance driver racing in Germany's national multiclass championship series. Graded FIA Bronze, he competes primarily in the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie for Plusline Motorsport, piloting Porsche Cayman GT4 Clubsport and BMW one-make cup machinery across its various single-class divisions. He has also contested the Nürburgring 24 Hours for PROsport racing, where he drives GT4 and GT3 cars in the same multiclass format.[1]
Over 13 seasons since 2013, Konnerth has accumulated 90 starts in the Langstrecken-Serie with 19 wins and 52 podiums, establishing himself as a consistent front-runner in that championship. He has won the series title twice, in 2017 and 2018, driving for Pixum Team Adrenalin Motorsport. In the Nürburgring 24 Hours, a far rarer assignment, he has taken 2 wins from 6 starts, with 5 podium finishes overall. His 2026 campaign began with one round raced so far at the 24 Hours.[2]
Konnerth's regular opponents at the Langstrecken-Serie are entry-level professionals of similar standing. He typically finishes ahead of Torsten Kratz, a Bronze-graded driver with more than a century of starts in that series and experience in European Le Mans Series and prototype racing. Against Heiko Eichenberg, a Bronze-graded rival who has won the Langstrecken-Serie title in three separate classes, Konnerth runs closely matched. He has beaten established professionals of considerably higher calibre on occasion: twice against Charles Weerts, a Platinum-graded GT World Challenge Europe champion with over a hundred starts in that series, and once against Matt Campbell, a Platinum-graded driver with multiple WEC titles and significant IMSA WeatherTech experience.
