Steve Introne is a competitive amateur racing solo in the SCCA's national multiclass championships. He races the B-Spec class, which runs near-stock economy hatchbacks, in the SCCA Regionals and Majors series, where up to 25 classes share the track in a single race alongside amateur, semi-professional and graded professional drivers. He has been active since 2021.[1]
Over five seasons, Introne has compiled 34 wins from 57 starts across the SCCA's three indexed series, with 49 podium finishes. He won the SCCA Regionals B-Spec championship in both 2024 and 2025. In the SCCA Majors, where the field is similar in composition, he has taken 14 wins from 22 starts with 18 podiums. His record in the SCCA Runoffs, the series' national event, spans three starts from 2021 to 2023, yielding one win and two podiums.[2]
In regular competition, Introne finishes ahead of other developing drivers such as J B Swan and Anthony Ruddy, who are among his most frequent opponents in the Regionals and Majors. He has also beaten Francis Selldorff, a Silver-graded professional and 2023 IMSA VP Racing SportsCar Challenge GSX champion, eight times across their meetings in the Majors.
