Trevor Russell is a competitive amateur racing in American single-seater and multiclass open-wheel championships. He competes primarily in SCCA Majors and SCCA Regionals, where he drives Formula Continental, Formula Ford and assorted formula cars across five seasons of racing from 2021 to 2025. His main team affiliation is Crosslink/Kiwi Motorsport.[1]
Russell has won seven races across his career, six of them in SCCA Regionals where he has taken seven podiums from eight starts. His results in SCCA Majors, the higher-profile national championship, are more modest: one win and two podiums from twelve starts. He finished 22nd in the US F4 championship in 2021, his only season in that single-class series, and has three podium finishes across three starts at the SCCA Runoffs national event.[2]
Russell races in fields mixing amateurs with professionals and graded drivers. He is closely matched against Bill Kephart, a club-level regular in the same series, and usually finishes behind Mac Clark, an entry-level professional and 2021 US F4 champion who has progressed to higher formulas including USF Pro 2000. He has beaten the professional driver Alex Barron once and Bryson Morris, an entry-level professional and 2021 Lucas Oil Formula Car Race Series champion, once across their head-to-head meetings.
