Ryan Shehan is an entry-level professional racing driver, FIA Silver grade, who competed primarily in single-seat open-wheel championships across the United States. He raced for Crosslink/Kiwi Motorsport in US F4 and Formula Regional Americas, spending six seasons in national competition from 2018 to 2024 with a total of 60 starts.[1]
Shehan won seven times across his career, with the bulk of his success coming in Formula Regional Americas, where he took four wins and finished among the podiums in 15 of 23 starts between 2023 and 2024. In US F4, he collected two wins and eight podiums over 33 starts from 2021 to 2022, finishing fourth in the 2022 championship standings. He also started in SCCA Regionals in the FX class and competed in SKUSA SuperNationals in junior karting classes, winning once in a regional event.[2]
Shehan regularly outpaced semi-professional opposition such as Hayden Bowlsbey, whom he usually finished ahead of in head-to-head meetings across multiple series. Against entry-level professional peers like Gabriel Fonseca, his record was closely matched. Most notably, he finished ahead of Andrea Kimi Antonelli, a generational driver who went on to Formula 1, once in their shared racing, and beat Noel Leon, an established professional and Euroformula Open champion, on two occasions.
