Noel Leon is an established professional racing in international single-seater championships. His rating of 5,961 places him among drivers competing regularly at the highest level of single-seater racing outside Formula 1. Leon won the 2023 Euroformula Open championship with Team Motopark, taking 7 wins from 20 starts. He currently races in Formula 2 for Campos Racing and competes in Formula 3 for Prema Racing, one of the sport's most successful teams.[1]
Leon's record spans seven seasons from 2019 onwards. He began in US F4 in 2021, where he took two wins and ten podiums from sixteen starts. The following year he moved to Formula Regional European with Arden Motorsport before stepping up to Euroformula Open in 2023, where his championship season saw him finish on the podium in sixteen of his twenty races. He has since raced in both Formula 3 and Formula 2; in the latter he has taken three wins and four podiums from eighteen starts, including a feature race victory at the Hungarian Grand Prix in July 2026. In Formula 3 he has six podiums from forty starts for Prema.[2]
Leon races in a field that includes established professionals with significant single-seater experience. His regular opponents Mari Boya and Laurens van Hoepen, both established professionals with careers spanning Formula Regional European and Formula 2, are closely matched with him across multiple seasons. He has finished ahead of Gabriel Bortoleto, the 2024 Formula 2 champion, and Andrea Kimi Antonelli, a generational talent who has raced in Formula 1, once each in their careers.
