Laurens van Hoepen is an established professional competing in FIA Formula 2, racing for TRIDENT across both the FR1 and FR2 classes in a multiclass championship that runs solo, one driver per car, across nineteen countries. He has raced in single-seater formula categories since 2022, with 106 starts across Formula Regional European, Formula 3, and Formula 2, accumulating twelve podiums.[1]

Van Hoepen spent two seasons in Formula Regional European from 2022 to 2023 with ART Grand Prix, taking two podiums across 36 starts and finishing ninth in the 2023 championship standings. He moved to Formula 3 with ART in 2024 and into 2025, where he has claimed five podiums from 40 starts in a multiclass field. He joined TRIDENT for Formula 2 in 2025 and continues there, adding five podiums across 30 starts so far.[2]
