🇮🇹 Gabriele Mini

Gabriele Mini is an elite professional single-seater racing driver competing in Formula 2 for MP Motorsport, where he races both the FR1 and FR2 classes. He has spent nine seasons in indexed competition across five series since 2017, building a record of 153 starts, 13 wins and 52 podiums. Mini won the 2020 Italian F4 championship with Prema Powerteam as a junior driver before progressing through Formula Regional European, Formula 3 and into Formula 2, where he has raced since 2024.[1]

His climb through the junior categories shows consistent improvement. In Formula Regional European with ART Grand Prix he took three wins and 13 podiums across two seasons. He then moved to Formula 3 in 2023 with Prema Racing, adding three more wins and nine podiums in 38 starts. His Formula 2 campaign from 2024 onwards has yielded two wins and 13 podiums across 54 starts, a tally that places him as a mid-field regular in what remains one of the sport's most competitive feeder series. In the 2026 season his performances have included victories at the Hungarian round.[2]

Mini races regularly against established professionals. Dino Beganovic, the 2022 Formula Regional European champion, has been a consistent rival across their shared series, with Mini closely matched to him. He also encounters Sebastian Montoya, a Silver-graded driver with more than 120 starts across Formula 2, Formula 3 and Italian F4 combined, and habitually finishes ahead of him. At the peak of the fields he occasionally reaches, Mini has beaten Andrea Kimi Antonelli, a generational driver who went on to Formula 1 and is a multi-time junior champion, and has a record of ten finishes ahead of Isack Hadjar, an elite professional who has raced Formula 1.
