Jak Crawford is an established professional racing driver competing in Formula 2 for DAMS Lucas Oil, alongside a reserve driver role with Aston Martin in Formula One. His career has been built across single-seater categories since 2017, moving through national-level Formula 4 championships into the international multiclass Formula 3 and Formula 2 grids.[1]

Crawford has taken 81 starts in Formula 2 since 2023, scoring six wins and nineteen podiums. His earlier campaigns included a dominant run in Euroformula Open in 2021, where he won seven of fourteen races for Team Motopark, and a strong season in ADAC Formula 4 that same year with five wins and twelve podiums for Van Amersfoort Racing. He won once in thirty-eight Formula 3 starts across 2021 and 2022 for Prema Racing, a team that took the series championship in 2022. His introduction to single-seaters came in Italian F4, where he picked up two wins in twelve races, and he has made four starts at SKUSA SuperNationals, taking one victory.[2]

In Formula 2, Crawford's consistent field comprises established professionals of similar standing; he has run closely matched against Victor Martins, a Gold-graded driver and two-time Formula Renault Eurocup champion who has made 81 Formula 2 starts, and against Roman Stanek, who has contested 75 Formula 2 races. His record against stronger drivers reflects the competitive gap between his level and the elite; he has finished ahead of Andrea Kimi Antonelli thirteen times despite that driver's generational rating and championships in ADAC Formula 4, Italian F4 and Formula Regional European, and ahead of Isack Hadjar thirty times in Formula 2 races, though Hadjar's thirty-five Formula One starts place him beyond Crawford's current reach.
