Graded FIA Gold, he races for Alpine Endurance Team in the FIA World Endurance Championship and serves as test and development driver for Williams in Formula One. He has spent nine seasons with ART Grand Prix across Formula Renault Eurocup, Formula 3 and Formula 2, and is currently in his first year of WEC racing.[1]

Martins won back-to-back Formula Renault Eurocup championships in 2019 and 2020 with 15 wins across 55 starts in the series. He moved through Formula 3 in 2021 and 2022 with three wins and 12 podiums from 38 starts across three classes, then joined Formula 2 in 2023. In Formula 2 he has taken three wins and 18 podiums across 81 starts through 2025. His rating of 5,592 places him in the established professional band. In Formula 2 he regularly finishes ahead of FIA Silver professional Amaury Cordeel and runs closely matched with Jak Crawford, an established professional who has raced 81 Formula 2 starts himself. The field across his career has included generational talents; he has finished ahead of Oscar Piastri, the 2021 Formula 2 champion and current Formula One driver, in 20 races, and ahead of Andrea Kimi Antonelli, champion of three junior series and now racing in Formula One, in nine.
