Victor Martins is an established professional racing driver competing in the FIA World Endurance Championship for the Alpine Endurance Team, where he pilots a Hypercar prototype in a multiclass endurance grid. He holds the FIA Gold grade, the highest full-professional ranking in sportscar and endurance racing. Martins has spent nine seasons in the index, from 2018 to 2026, primarily with ART Grand Prix across the single-seater categories before moving to prototype racing this year.[1]

His record spans 180 starts and 22 wins across Formula 2, Formula 3, the Formula Renault Eurocup, and now the World Endurance Championship. He won back-to-back Formula Renault Eurocup titles in 2019 and 2020, both with ART Grand Prix, taking 15 wins and 34 podiums across 55 starts in that series. His subsequent step to Formula 3 yielded 3 wins and 12 podiums from 38 starts, before joining Formula 2 in 2023 where he has taken 3 wins and 18 podiums across 81 starts through 2025. His transition to endurance racing came in 2026 with the World Endurance Championship, where he has scored 1 win and 1 podium from six rounds contested so far, currently sitting tenth in the championship standings.[2]

Martins spent much of his single-seater career as a regular opponent to Amaury Cordeel, an established professional, typically finishing ahead of him, and was closely matched with Jak Crawford, another established professional who has raced the same progression through Formula 2 and Formula 3. His podium record includes finishes ahead of Andrea Kimi Antonelli and Oscar Piastri, both generational drivers who went on to Formula 1; Piastri won the 2019 Formula Renault Eurocup and the 2020 Formula 3 title before moving on to claim the 2021 Formula 2 championship.
