Jaime Alguersuari is a Spanish former racing driver who competed across multiple categories in the 2000s and 2010s. He began his single-seater career in Formula Renault Eurocup between 2005 and 2007, securing three podium finishes across 24 starts for Epsilon Red Bull Team. Alguersuari contested two rounds of Formula 3 Macau in 2008 with Carlin Motorsport before stepping up to Formula V8 3.5 in 2009, where he achieved his sole career victory and three additional podiums from 17 starts, ultimately finishing fifth in the championship standings.[1]
Alguersuari later competed in Formula E during the 2014 season, entering eight races for Virgin Racing Formula E Team without securing points. Across his career in the four series tracked, he accumulated 51 starts, 1 win, and 6 podiums. Though best known for his Formula One involvement between 2009 and 2011, Alguersuari subsequently transitioned into broadcasting and entertainment, becoming a DJ and media personality while maintaining involvement with motorsport commentary.[2]
