Felipe Nasr is a professional endurance racing driver, FIA Platinum graded, competing in the IMSA WeatherTech Championship for Porsche Penske Motorsport. He drives a Porsche in the GTP class. His current standing is rated 6,022, placing him among established professionals; at this level, he beats most peers but faces occasional losses to stronger competition in shared fields.[1]

Nasr's racing career spans 16 seasons from 2010 onward. He began in Formula 3 before progressing through the GP2 Series, where he took four wins and 20 podiums across three seasons with Carlin, then contested Formula 1 from 2015 to 2016 with Sauber across 40 starts. Since 2018 he has concentrated on endurance racing. In IMSA WeatherTech he has amassed 71 starts, 16 wins and 38 podiums; in 2024 he secured the GTP championship title with Porsche Penske. His notable victories include the 12 Hours of Sebring in 2019, 2025 and 2026 and the 24 Hours of Daytona in 2022 and consecutively from 2024 to 2026. He has also made nine starts in the World Endurance Championship with Porsche Penske since 2018. In IMSA WeatherTech, Nasr regularly races Renger van der Zande, a Platinum-graded 2016 IMSA champion and established professional; the two are closely matched across their meetings. He typically finishes ahead of Simon Trummer, a Gold-graded professional who has raced extensively in GP2, WEC and GP3. His Formula 1 record includes three finishes ahead of Max Verstappen and one ahead of Nico Rosberg, both world champions, though those results came when Verstappen and Rosberg held broader career standing than Nasr held in single-seaters; his primary racing since has been in endurance, where he has become a title-winning regular.
