Carson Hocevar is an established professional racing stock cars in the NASCAR national series. He drives the No. 77 Chevrolet for Spire Motorsports in the Cup Series full-time and the No. 77 Silverado for the same team part-time in the Truck Series, with part-time Xfinity starts in the No. 42 Chevrolet for Young's Motorsports. His rating of 5,703 places him among the stronger drivers racing regularly in NASCAR's national structure.[1]

Hocevar turned professional in 2018 with ARCA, his entry-level series. He graduated to NASCAR Truck racing by 2019 and has spent the bulk of his career there, taking six wins and 16 podiums across 90 starts as a regular competitor through 2026. The Truck Series remains his strongest series by results; his finishes there include three wins in the 2021 and 2022 seasons alone. He added NASCAR Cup starts beginning in 2023, accruing 116 starts with two wins and seven podiums as of his 2026 run, and eight Xfinity starts beginning that same year. His wins in Cup came in 2023 and 2024. He races ovals predominantly across all three series, with road and street courses comprising roughly 10 to 15 per cent of his starts in each.[2]

On an oval-focused national stock car grid, Hocevar runs closely matched with established professionals including Zane Smith, the 2022 Truck Series champion, and John Hunter Nemechek, who won both the 2021 Truck and 2023 Xfinity championships. Both have been regular opponents across multiple series and both have significantly more experience at the Cup level. Hocevar has also finished ahead of elite professionals including 2025 Cup champion Denny Hamlin and former front-running Cup driver Ryan Blaney, though these meetings have been scattered across the seasons rather than sustained head-to-head competition. His current 2026 season in Xfinity has him sitting 28th in the championship standings after the opening round.
