Luke Browning is a professional racing driver competing in Super Formula for Realize Kondo Racing. A Gold-graded endurance driver competing at the established professional level, with a Racer Rating of 6,002, Browning has progressed through single-seater racing since 2019 and is currently a reserve driver for Williams in Formula One. His most extensive single-seater experience came in British F4, where he took nine wins from 54 starts with Fortec Motorsports; he later won the 2022 GB3 championship with Hitech Grand Prix before stepping up to the international categories.[1]
Across Formula 3 and Formula 2, Browning has competed regularly without commanding either series. In Formula 3, he scored two wins and four podiums across 38 starts with Hitech Pulse-Eight over two seasons; in Formula 2, he has nine podiums and one win from 33 starts across two seasons with Hitech TGR. His record in the international junior categories places him alongside strong professionals, though his outright win rate lags behind the grid's fastest drivers. Browning has beaten generational drivers Andrea Kimi Antonelli and elite professional Tadasuke Makino in individual races, though he remains a regular competitor behind Leonardo Fornaroli, the 2024 Formula 3 and 2025 Formula 2 champion, who has consistently finished ahead of him when they race. He has been closely matched with established professional Sebastian Montoya across Formula 3 and Formula 2.[2]
Browning has made his Super Formula debut in 2026 with Realize Kondo Racing as part of the Williams Driver Academy.
