Thed Björk is an established professional racing touring cars. He has spent his career in World Touring Car Championship series, most recently competing in the TCR World Tour for Lynk & Co Cyan Racing, where he drives a Lynk & Co. His signature achievement came in 2017 when he won the World Touring Car Championship with Polestar Cyan Racing.[1]
Across twelve seasons and 201 starts, Björk has taken 18 wins and 50 podiums. He spent five seasons in the FIA World Touring Car Cup from 2018 to 2022, finishing with eight wins and 18 podiums across 100 starts for Cyan Performance Lynk & Co. In the World Touring Car Championship proper, he scored three wins in 44 starts between 2013 and 2017. Since 2023 he has raced the TCR World Tour, where he has taken seven wins and 23 podiums in 53 starts. His career began with four starts in International Formula 3000 in 2002.[2]
The TCR World Tour grid includes multiple champions. Björk regularly races against Norbert Michelisz, a Platinum-graded driver who won the TCR World Tour in both 2023 and 2024, and against Yann Ehrlacher, a Gold-graded driver and two-time FIA World Touring Car Cup champion who also holds the 2025 TCR World Tour title. Björk runs closely matched with both. He has finished ahead of Will Brown, the 2024 Supercars champion, on four occasions in TCR World Tour competition.
