🇬🇧 Alex Lynn

Alex Lynn is an established professional racing driver competing in the FIA World Endurance Championship for Cadillac Hertz Team JOTA. Graded FIA Platinum, the highest professional rating in endurance and sportscar racing, Lynn races the team's LMP2 prototype across a career spanning fifteen seasons and 204 starts in single-seater and endurance championships. He won the 2014 GP3 Series with Carlin and has raced as a full-season regular in both open-wheel and multiclass environments.[1]

Lynn's open-wheel career produced a GP2 Series campaign with DAMS between 2015 and 2016, during which he took five wins and nine podiums and finished sixth overall in both seasons. Before that, he won the 2014 GP3 championship with eight podiums in eighteen starts. In FIA Formula 3 European competition across 2012 and 2013, he scored three wins and sixteen podiums over thirty-eight starts for Prema Powerteam, winning at Macau twice in four starts. His move to endurance racing brought entries in Formula E from 2017 to 2020 with Mahindra Racing, yielding one win and three podiums across thirty-one starts, and a decade-long association with Cadillac in the World Endurance Championship and IMSA WeatherTech Championship, for which he has fourteen starts and two wins. In the European Le Mans Series, he has taken two wins in ten starts for Algarve Pro Racing. His current 2025 WEC season sits at fourth in championship standings with one win from eight rounds raced so far.[2]

In open-wheel racing, Lynn was regularly matched against established professionals including Raffaele Marciello, a four-time champion and fellow FIA Platinum driver, and Tom Blomqvist, the 2022 IMSA WeatherTech DPi champion; both remain competitors in endurance racing. His record against elite-level opposition includes sixteen podium finishes alongside Pierre Gasly, the 2016 GP2 champion and current Formula 1 driver, and a single finish ahead of Alex Palou, the five-time IndyCar champion, in the 2014 GP3 season when both raced as rising drivers.
