🇩🇪 Pascal Wehrlein

Pascal Wehrlein is an elite professional racing driver competing primarily in Formula E for the TAG Heuer Porsche Formula E Team. Graded Platinum by the FIA, he holds a Racer Rating of 6,966, placing him among the strongest active drivers on the single-seater circuit. His career spans multiple categories from Formula 3 through Formula 1, though his longest tenure and most consistent platform has been Formula E, where he has contested 93 races since 2018.[1]

Wehrlein won the 2012 Formula 3 Euro Series at Mücke Motorsport as a nineteen-year-old, then competed in higher Formula 3 categories the following year before progressing to Formula 1 with Sauber for the 2016 and 2017 seasons. His 39 starts in Formula 1 yielded no podium finishes. Formula E has been his primary racing home, where he has taken nine wins and 22 podiums across his runs with Porsche. In 2024, he secured his first Formula E world championship with the team. More recently, he has begun competing in sports car racing; he sits 21st in the 2025 WEC championship after two rounds with Porsche Penske Motorsport and has made one appearance in IMSA WeatherTech competition.[2]

In Formula E, Wehrlein races regularly against established professionals of comparable standing. He and Stoffel Vandoorne, a three-time Formula E champion and former Formula 1 driver, have closely matched results across multiple seasons. Robin Frijns, another Platinum-graded professional with a WEC LMP2 title, has proven similarly competitive. At other points in his career, Wehrlein has finished ahead of elite drivers including Alex Palou, the five-time IndyCar champion, and Pierre Gasly, an established Formula 1 competitor.
