Robin Frijns is a Dutch racing driver whose career has spanned open-wheel single-seaters, Formula E, and sports car endurance racing. Coming through the junior single-seater ranks, he built a reputation as a versatile talent before establishing himself internationally, most notably through a long stint in Formula E with Envision Racing, where he became one of the series' recognizable frontrunners. That electric single-seater experience later fed into a move toward endurance racing, where he joined the BMW factory program as part of the driver lineup fielded by Team WRT.[1]
