Felix Rosenqvist is an elite professional racing driver, rated 6,210 on an Elo-style scale that measures strength across racing fields. He drives the No. 7 Chevrolet for Arrow McLaren in the IndyCar Series and holds an FIA Gold grading for sportscar and endurance racing. His primary career has been single-seater racing and IndyCar competition across 17 seasons from 2010 to 2026, totalling 336 starts in multiple championships.[1]

Rosenqvist won the 2015 FIA Formula 3 European championship with Prema Powerteam, taking 29 wins and 52 podiums across 109 starts in that series. Before that success he raced the Formula 3 Euro Series with Mücke Motorsport, claiming 5 wins in 42 starts. He stepped up to Formula E with Mahindra Racing in 2016 and 2017, adding three wins and seven podiums across 20 starts. That same year he competed in Indy NXT, where he won three of ten races for Belardi Auto Racing. In IndyCar from 2019 onwards, he has taken two wins and eleven podiums across 132 starts for Meyer Shank with Curb-Agajanian, competing on both ovals and road courses; he was named 2019 IndyCar Rookie of the Year and won the 2026 Indianapolis 500. He has also raced in Super GT and IMSA WeatherTech, with a single appearance in the World Endurance Championship in 2017.[2]

In the FIA Formula 3 European championship, Rosenqvist raced alongside multiple drivers who have gone on to Formula 1. He finished ahead of Lando Norris, who won the 2017 FIA Formula 3 European title and is a generational talent currently racing in Formula 1, though they met only once in indexed results. Against George Russell, a generational driver and two-time Formula 1 race winner, Rosenqvist finished ahead in 26 of their meetings in the same series. In IndyCar, his regular opposition includes Santino Ferrucci, an established professional and FIA Gold driver, whom he typically beats, and Josef Newgarden, a Platinum-graded champion of the 2017 and 2019 IndyCar titles, against whom he usually finishes behind. His career spans a transition from junior single-seater racing through Formula E to long-term IndyCar competition with a single dominant programme.
