Zhou Guanyu is a Chinese racing driver who competed in single-seater formula racing from 2015 to 2018. He began his career in Italian F4 in 2015 with Prema Powerteam, recording 3 wins and 9 podiums across 20 starts and finishing fourth in the championship. That same year he contested 7 rounds of ADAC Formula 4 with the same team, securing 2 podium finishes. He then progressed to FIA Formula 3 European from 2016 to 2018 with PREMA Theodore Racing, his primary series during this period, accumulating 2 wins and 13 podiums from 78 starts. He also competed in Formula 3 Macau on three occasions between 2016 and 2018 for SJM Theodore Racing by Prema without achieving podium results.[1]
Across all junior formula categories, Zhou recorded 110 starts, 5 wins, and 24 podiums. His career in the formulae listed above concluded in 2018. Subsequently, Zhou progressed to Formula One, where he became the first Chinese driver to compete in the series, racing from 2022 to 2024.
