Scott Dixon is an elite professional racing driver at Platinum FIA grade competing across IndyCar and endurance racing. He has spent 24 seasons in IndyCar, racing for Chip Ganassi Racing in the No. 6 Arrow McLaren entry, and has contested multiclass endurance championships in IMSA WeatherTech and the World Endurance Championship; he drives DPi and GTP prototypes in IMSA and Hypercar machinery in WEC.[1]

Dixon has won six IndyCar championships spanning 2003 to 2020, across 400 starts in the series where he has taken 58 wins and 144 podiums. He has contested 34 IMSA WeatherTech starts from 2014 to 2026, securing four wins and ten podiums, and made six World Endurance Championship appearances between 2016 and 2024 with one podium. His total career record across these three series stands at 440 starts, 62 wins and 155 podiums. In endurance racing he has won the 24 Hours of Daytona three times and Petit Le Mans twice. On ovals, where he has raced 231 of his 400 IndyCar starts, he is the dominant figure in the series; the remaining 169 starts have come on road and street courses.[2]

In his regular IndyCar field Dixon typically finishes ahead of established professional Graham Rahal and remains closely matched with 2020 IMSA WeatherTech DPi champion Helio Castroneves. He has beaten elite professional and five-time IndyCar champion Alex Palou 53 times across their head-to-heads, and has a similar record against fellow elite professional Pato O'Ward, a two-time IMSA WeatherTech and Indy NXT champion, whom he has finished ahead of on 65 occasions.
