🇬🇧 Jack Aitken

Jack Aitken is an established professional racing driver rated 6,062, competing across single-seaters and sportscars over 14 seasons since 2013. He drives for Cadillac Whelen in IMSA WeatherTech competition and for Cadillac Hertz Team Jota in the FIA World Endurance Championship, holding FIA Platinum grading in endurance racing. He is the 2026 IMSA GTP drivers' champion.[1]

Aitken won the 2015 Formula Renault Eurocup early in his career with Koiranen GP, then spent three seasons in Formula 2 with HWA Racelab from 2018 to 2021, taking four wins and 11 podiums across 76 starts without a title. He made a single Formula 1 appearance for Williams in 2020. From 2022 onwards he transitioned to sportscar racing, competing in GT and prototype classes; he has taken five wins and 14 podiums in IMSA WeatherTech, one win in ADAC GT Masters, and one podium in WEC across 31 starts in that championship. In DTM, a national touring-car series, he has won six times in 41 starts for Emil Frey Racing since 2023. His 2026 IMSA title came from consistency across the season rather than a final-round victory; he currently sits eighth in the WEC standings across five rounds of that ongoing campaign.[2]

Aitken regularly races against Nyck de Vries, an established professional and FIA Platinum driver who won Formula 2 and Formula E; de Vries typically finishes ahead in their meetings. He is closely matched with Louis Deletraz, a Gold-graded endurance specialist who has won five European Le Mans Series LMP2 championships and the 2023 WEC LMP2 title. Earlier in single-seaters, Aitken finished ahead of George Russell, the generational driver and current Formula 1 front-runner, seven times across their overlapping seasons in junior formulae, and beat Lando Norris, also generational and the 2025 Formula 1 champion, on three occasions.
