Jack Aitken is a British racing driver who came through the junior single-seater ranks before reaching Formula One, where he made a substitution appearance under the British flag at the 2020 Sakhir Grand Prix. Also of South Korean heritage, Aitken built his early reputation in feeder categories before transitioning into sports car racing, where he has since established himself as an active and experienced competitor. He currently competes for Cadillac Whelen in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship.[1]
Across his career, Aitken has amassed 114 starts, three wins and 12 podium finishes, though he has yet to claim a championship title. His Racer Rating of 5,864 places him 173rd among active drivers on a scale where the world's elite sit between roughly 10,000 and 11,500, reflecting a solid but not top-tier competitive standing. In the 2026 season, Aitken has taken part in two rounds without a win or podium so far, sitting P103 in the standings; his ongoing participation with Cadillac Whelen continues to add to a career built on steady sports car experience following his earlier open-wheel exposure.[2]
